As a Cultural Anthropologist I work to build understanding on complex socio-cultural issues. My research specialties include qualitative research methodologies, legal anthropology, and social citizenship with a regional focus on Southeast Asia. For my doctoral dissertation, I conducted ethnographic research in Yangon, Myanmar and archival research in London, England. I have additional research experience in China and Taiwan.
I am currently a Visiting Fellow in the Southeast Asia Program at Cornell University.
